Our Yard

Random Happenings

Gabe update:
Well Gabe has been going up and down stairs with no hands. My little boy is getting brave.
One of the perks of the Durango is that Gabe can climb in and out no problem. For some reason it is easier than the Vibe.
He likes to sing the ABC song in the car with me. He knows most of it but wont sing it with out me. I think I need to buy a CD that sings better than I do.

Wesson update:
There isn't to much going on in the world of Wesson but he is talking more. He will sit there and be as quiet as can be and all of the sudden spit out 2 or 3 words and it totally surprises me. He also loves the Durango, Patrick says he is almost as protective of it as I am. Its really funny when he jumps up and yells because he thinks his dad is going to hit something.

Well my Birthday is coming up on the 11th. I will be 23. The Birthday Parties have already started. Oh and I bought myself a new pair of shoes with some of my b-day money. What girl doesn't like getting a new pair of shoes.

School has started back up, which isn't so exciting but it is time consuming.

On Friday Patrick and Shawn worked on digging up the stump in the front yard and on Sunday Patrick, Gabe and I finished that and put in a flower bed. I am very excited. I will post pics of the rest of the yard soon :D Gabe was my little helper putting down mulch and helping plant flowers.

Memorial Weekend

Well we had a busy weekend on Saturday 4 of us went to the Kite family May b-day Party. Shawn had a playdate with his Grandma so he couldn't come.

On Sunday we went to the Air Show. It was a little hot and the planes were a little loud for Gabe's Ears but all in all it was a good time.

 On Monday we went to The Rutherford Memorial Day Picnic/Trentons B-day.

Durango

Well we got a new Durango on Saturday. We have been looking for a while and found this one. It is going to be perfect for us. It's four wheel drive and it has third row seat and I am a very happy mama. Oh and it is the first car I have paid for in cash up front. That's right ya'll no payments!! :D

Tigers

Well this week I have been dealing with something I wasn't quite prepared for from Gabe. On Monday Night I put Gabe to bed just like any other night but around 4AM he wakes up and comes to find me. He very calmly told me that there were tigers under his bed and he wanted to sleep in the living room. He seemed ok he just wanted his Mickey Mouse to protect him. Since it was 4AM I let him. I woke him up in the morning and he asked me about them again. I was really hoping he was going to forget about it. The best thing I can come up with is that he had a dream about it but I cant figure out where he would have seen a tiger that would have scared him.

Tuesday Night he wanted to sleep in the living room again but I convinced him that I scared them all away and he slept in his bed.

Wednesday he asked about them again, but went to bed much easier. I offered to look under the bed and he told me no and just gave me a goodnight kiss.

Last night he didn't bring it up. I hope he is over it. I worry about my baby. I really just wish that I knew where it all came from. The only thing that I have been able to come up with Tiger wise is he has Pooh and Tigger sheets, but he likes Tigger. I just don't know.

Fishing Trip

Saturday we went fishing here are some pictures. We had a great time and everyone caught something!

Home Depot

So we went to Home Depot on Saturday. They do this cool thing on the first Saturday of every month where you can bring your kids and they can build something for free. It's a great time. This weekend they got to make flower boxes.
